Adele has glamour and mystery on her mind telling a local French radio station that she would love to duet with Beyonce, while raising controversy that she may be the next James Bond woman.

In an interview with French radio station NJR, Adele first addressed her next album which she said would be a long time coming because she wanted to do so much more of it herself.

"I want to write it, record it all, produce it all and master it on my own,"

Then turning to hopeful dreams the 21 superstar was positively for collaborating with Beyonce.

"I adore Beyonce, I've been listening to her since I was about 11. I think her work as an artist and a singer is enviable in terms of the length of her career and how she's grown and grown, but most of my inspirations are [from] old music and sadly they have all died."

Lastly, with a wiff of mystery in the air, Adele mentioned she would definitely release a single this year. This brought speculation due to unconfirmed information on a James Bond Skyfall Wikia site that claimed Adele would be the leading songstress. Given that Adele was rumoured to be one of the chosen in contention for 2008's Quantum of Solace we can see that people would likely be much more interested now. Will she?

Won't she? All we know is that Adele will likely release one more single this year and then go into studio hibernation for the next 2 to 3 years. So sad for the end of this era.

Released in January 2011, Adele's 21 has sold almost 20m copies, making it one of the bestselling albums of the past decade.
