Adele has won the Golden Globe for James Bond's Skyfall in fine cheeky fashion.

Arriving breathless and surprised on the stage, the Rolling In The Deep Singer gushed about how much fun she and friend Ida were having before being announced as winner of Best Original Song, Motion Picture.

"Oh my god! Oh my god, oh my god! Honestly, I've come out for a night out with my friend Ida, we're new mums, we've literally come for a night out. I was not expecting to [win]," she began. "Thank you so much! My god!

"It's very strange to be here. Thank you so much for letting me be part of your world for a night. It's amazing. We've been p*ssing ourselves laughing at all of this.

Adele continued: "I'd like to thank the Hollywood Foreign Press - I never thought I'd ever say that! Sony Pictures, MGM, Sam Mendes, Paul Epworth, who I wrote the song with, Daniel Craig for being such a wonderful Bond.

"And this [award] is for my boyfriend Simon, who convinced me to do it, and my lovely son. Thank you so much."

Adele did not perform at Sunday night's ceremony, but was recently tipped to make her first performance post-pregnancy at next month's Oscars.
